WHELAN / WATSON: OTHER STORIES enjoyed a partial revival last week at New York City Center - Arthur Pita's piece "The Ballad of Mack & Ginny" was danced by Wendy Whelan & Edward Watson for two sold out nights, with Frank MDing the live quintet of musicians.
Meanwhile, NATALIA OSIPOVA continues her tour - from Sadler's Wells and the Edinburgh International Festival - to New York City Center in November 2016....
A short film commission from ENGLISH NATIONAL BALLET features a recomposition of the Giselle score by Frank, and will be shown as a curtain raiser to Akram Khan's Giselle in November at Sadler's Wells.
THE LITTLE MATCH GIRL company recently returned from a 3 week tour in China, and Sadler's Wells have confirmed the show as their Christmas production in the Lilian Bayliss Theatre for the third year in a row.
Frank is assembling a sound score for a new double bill evening from Arthur Pita: STEPMOTHER/STEPFATHER, to premiere at Dance East in Ipswich, at the end of October.
And finally... a full orchestral score commissioned by SAN FRANCISCO BALLET is under way and will premiere in March 2017. Watch this space!
